Comment by joe bellantoni(12/9/2013 12:38:11 PM) - something like this maybe

Comment by joe bellantoni(10/31/2013 4:39:32 PM) - If you are going to do a frame like this or a mat around the image the rule of thumb is to leave more room at the bottom. as is how I show in the crop.

Comment by joe bellantoni(10/10/2013 12:13:06 PM) - Imo a little too tall but very nice content and workflow

Comment by joe bellantoni(9/17/2013 1:59:18 PM) - you might think of a crop that uses the nice sweep of the road.good content either way

Comment by joe bellantoni(9/17/2013 1:55:32 PM) - ok as is but I prefer it in the top right side...lol
I love these selective colors that are so sharp

Comment by joe bellantoni(9/17/2013 1:49:14 PM) - I like it...almost too much dof but with a simple crop it still works well.

Comment by joe bellantoni(9/15/2013 3:35:44 PM) - then crop it ...really crop it.....

Comment by joe bellantoni(9/12/2013 2:20:46 PM) - I would do a small crop on the other side of the bee.....Nice sharp image

Comment by joe bellantoni(9/1/2013 12:53:56 PM) - good scene

Comment by joe bellantoni(8/7/2013 6:37:39 PM) - I would crop it even tighter

Comment by joe bellantoni(8/2/2013 1:39:06 PM) - I love this but think it is more abstract with the sq crop

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/19/2013 11:17:59 AM) - just a fine shot it can go many ways...I really like the b/w

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/15/2013 10:54:01 AM) - try this crop...as it is there is imo too much bad neg space...take it away and you'll have a nice image

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/14/2013 2:45:55 PM) - I really like the mood here but that little slice up top throws it off to my ey.. I got rid of it in my crop

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/13/2013 11:05:38 AM) - the crop I give you gets rid of some of the oof flower and keeps a good diagonal on the scene...
nice scene

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/8/2013 1:47:58 PM) - wonderful seascape the sailboat makes it...also works as a pano of sorts

=2
Comment by joe bellantoni(7/8/2013 1:43:12 PM) - I don't know if you need all that top to show they came down for water...nice sharp image

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/5/2013 3:38:23 PM) - If The white is blown highlights I would crop as I have shown...cute little bugger.
I agree you should boost the saturation some but I would go over the squirrel with a sharp brush then go over with a sponge brus set to saturate

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/3/2013 6:22:18 PM) - without the family it is a nice dramatic image

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/30/2013 1:12:06 PM) - I like the painterly effect and with a little crop the severe distortions diminish nicely

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/26/2013 3:55:03 PM) - I like less on the top..nice framing

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/22/2013 1:19:30 PM) - one shadow is quite enough for this comp imo....nice view

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/22/2013 1:09:23 PM) - its dying to be tall and lean...love the concept.

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/22/2013 1:06:56 PM) - 2nd submit with a little off the top and side....nice image

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/21/2013 5:15:37 PM) - I would crop it as a pano...

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/18/2013 6:28:18 PM) - excellent display

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/6/2013 4:29:03 PM) - I see it like this and like it very much

Comment by joe bellantoni(6/5/2013 10:53:16 AM) - this is excellent but to me it looks better in the PORTRAIT format

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/21/2013 11:40:01 AM) - excellent scene

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/20/2013 12:10:38 PM) - I think it looks better like this...the top is not helping the image

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/15/2013 11:29:59 AM) - I don't like the dead one...calls for a crop from me, but others might like it.You know these art images make for great cards...you should market them.
Very nice indeed

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/13/2013 10:30:17 AM) - from what I have been reading this is the new type of crop for portraits...

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/10/2013 2:02:52 PM) - if you crop this down lower it will have even more depth to the image...the sky stops it imo...nice pov

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/7/2013 5:56:00 PM) - I would crop...I like the soft look and the eyes go perfect with it.

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/5/2013 12:56:46 PM) - I like the treatment in this

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/28/2013 1:46:57 PM) - I like this area, but the rest because of its clarity is too competing with the image imo.

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/24/2013 1:53:30 PM) - I really like the mood here....could also crop as well

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/22/2013 3:43:53 PM) - agree with Wessel...you have to think about the crops more

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/22/2013 3:41:50 PM) - try it as a pano

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/16/2013 6:14:39 PM) - when you shoot white try to put a neg. -1 on the exposure compensation to keep the whites from blowing out as in this image.

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/15/2013 11:04:28 AM) - tighten it up

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/15/2013 11:03:30 AM) - get rid of the shadow

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/10/2013 1:09:22 PM) - try this crop for your liking

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/2/2013 12:29:54 PM) - nice pose you caught...because of the subtle colors I would tighten it up somewhat

Comment by joe bellantoni(4/1/2013 11:04:16 AM) - I like this more quadratic...nice mix of textures
